This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE AND SHARING:

We are sole owners fo the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give to us via email or other direct contact from you. We will NOT sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to to fulfil your request such as to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about upcoming specials or new arrivals, or changes to this policy.

SECURITY

We take all precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify that by looking for a closed lock icon at the top of your web browser or looking for the “https” at the beginning of the address of the website.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or sister service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

General Policies

Ordering Guidelines

You may place your order online or by calling 587-252-2000

You may pay for order using a credit card or etransfer to info@brewmillcandlecompany.com

We update our website on a daily basis. Our stock and quantities may change due to availability.

Prices are effective on date of your order. Discounts or coupons that were not valid on date of of your order cannot be applied.

There is NO minimum order required.

Please ensure that all orders are accurate prior to finalizing and submitting them online.

Once an order has been confirmed we will send you a confirmation email.

All orders must be checked immediately upon receipt so that any discrepancies may be addressed.

PICKUP ORDERS:

Pick up orders are on a pre-paid basis they will not be processed until paid.

Customers will receive an email confirmation of a date and time for pickup once the order is ready.

Orders must be picked up within 14 days of confirmation email sent out to customer, and will be subject to a $10 or 10% re-stocking fee, whichever is greater if not picked up within that timeline.

SPECIAL PROMOTIONS

From time to time we will offer special promotions on select items in stock. This could be based on multiple reasons and are only available during time noted in promotion and/or until item sells out.

PAYMENT METHODS

All orders are pre-paid; payments will be taken before an oder is processed, packed and shipped.

Accepted payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Direct Bank Transfer, E-mail transfer and cash. We cannot accept direct debit credit cards for phone orders but can accept them online or in person.

SHIPPING

We will offer our customers the choice of shipping method in the payment process. We are not in charge of shipping fees, this changes regularly and we have no control over that. We do have accounts with Canada Post, UPS and FedEx to help you get the best shipping prices at our discount. We do not operate our shipping department as a profit-making centre. These online shipping quotes are estimates based on weight and volume. We reserve the right to change the shipping charges, but if this occurs, you will be contacted to help you make the best choice for you.

All our orders are shipped from our location in St. Albert, Alberta and include insurance with orders placed with our shipping companies up to $100 in coverage. Please contact us should you require additional insurance.

BrewMill Candle Company takes no responsibility for any losses, damages or delays that occur. We are happy to assist you in processing the insurance and will replace the item if shipping company advises us that the claim has been approved.

TAXES

All taxes are calculated based on shipping address. Customers in provinces that participate in HST will be charged their respective rates:

New Brunswick 15%

Newfoundland & Labrador 15%

Nova Scotia 15%

Ontario 13%

Prince Edward Island 15%

Customers in province that do not participate in HST will only be charged 5% GST based on our Alberta Guidelines – BC, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nanuvut, Saskatchewan, Yukon and Quebec. Customers who pick up their orders will pay Alberta’s 5% GST. The taxes will be charged when the orders are processed.

ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders are usually processed within 24 hours of submission, though the actual amount of time will vary depending upon the season. Orders placed on the weekend may be processed 24 hours from the next business day. All orders cancelled after they have been filled will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

Return Policy

We have a 100% Customer Satisfaction Policy.

Products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund on the cost of goods (less shipping charges and applicable re-stock fees as noted below)

All returns (where there has been no mistake on part of BrewMill Candle Company Ltd.) will be assessed a 10% restocking fee.

Returns beyond 30 days will be subject to management authorization based on exception basis.

All returns must be sent to us for review of the product. Once received and inspected a refund or store credit will be processed. Our address is:

All items must be returned unused and in original packaging within 30 days of the date of purchase.

As candles are sensitive to heat there will be no refund for items left outside to melt in hot weather. Please make arrangements for item to be moved inside once delivered to your chosen location. We are not responsible for items left outside to melt. In the event this happens, simply bring it inside and allow to harden for 24 hours, it will not effect your candle.

Refunds or credits may take up to two weeks to process. Refunds may take up to 8-10 business days for your financial institution to process before appearing on your statement.

Refunds will be processed in the manner in which the order was paid. We require a VOID cheque to credit the account if order is paid by E-transfer or Direct Deposit.
